Vote. Seriously.

Doesn't this look like fun?!
No matter where you live in America, or who is on your ballot, you ought to exercise your right and privilege to vote. Not every country governs as a democracy ... you should think about that.

Early voting is going on now and Election Day is just a week away! Go do your homework on your candidates and make a decision already! Your local newspaper website should have a Voter Guide to educate you on the backgrounds, platforms, and positions of each candidate. Sadly, I'm sure some people spend more time picking their fantasy drafts! So you really don't have a good excuse not to vote. Plus, you'll probably get a nifty sticker that says, "I voted today!" and others will follow your good example.

Just for kicks, here are some lame excuses I've heard, and don't ever want to hear again.
"My vote won't make a difference." Actually, you NOT voting is you NOT making a difference.
"My candidate will win anyway." And when enough people think that, your candidate ends up losing.
Or the opposite, "My candidate won't win anyway." Sadly, they surely won't win if you don't even vote.
"If I don't vote, then whenever the elected person screws up, I can say 'I didn't vote for them!'" Wow.
